Processed · matched level

Original noisy-speech fixture and processed audio, normalized to matching listening levels for comparison.

Measured local noisy-speech fixture, October 4, 2026: source 370,480 bytes became a 1,111,284-byte mono PCM WAV at 48 kHz. Duration remains 11.575 seconds; uncompressed export is larger. Before/After comparison loudness measures −15.95/−15.99 LUFS. Those matching levels support fair listening; they do not score quality.

How to clean up audio

  1. 1.

Upload audio or a video with an audio track.

  2. 2.

Choose noise reduction, normalization or both; adjust noise-reduction intensity.

  3. 3.

Compare the same excerpt and download the processed audio.

Noise reduction and normalization

Noise reduction attenuates unwanted sound. Normalization changes levels toward the fixed −16 LUFS target. The combined mode also applies a 70 Hz high-pass filter. They solve different problems; a louder recording is not necessarily a clearer one.

Listen for the tradeoff

Aggressive denoising can thin the voice or create artifacts. Clipped or missing speech may remain damaged. Keep the original, compare at similar playback volume and choose the gentlest useful processing.
